Otoplasty

Otoplasty is a procedure to reshape, reposition or reduce the size of the ears for more balanced and natural appearance.

Ideal candidates are adults who have ears that stick out or have irregular shape or size. The procedure is performed typically under local. Dr Liu uses a combination of suture and cartilage reshaping techniques through a hidden incision in the posterior natural folds of the ear. The procedure typically takes 1-2 hours.

A headband is worn for protection and support during healing. Most patients return to normal activities within 1-2 weeks.
