Brachioplasty
Brachioplasty
Brachioplasty, or arm lift, is a procedure that reshapes the upper arm by removing excess skin and fat.
The surgery is ideal for patients who have experienced significant weight loss, or aging.
Dr Liu combines liposuction and skin excision to tighten and reshape the upper arm.
A hidden scar is placed in the posterior, inner surface of the upper arm.

Who is a candidate?
Ideal patients are at their ideal body weight, BMI <30, in good health and do not smoke.
What is the surgery and recovery like?
The procedure is typically performed under general anesthesia or sedation and usually takes 1-2 hours. Postoperative compression garments are worn for 4-6 weeks. Most patients resume normal daily activities immediately and avoid heavy lifting for 6 weeks.
